Mr. Barkett has a diverse entrepreneurial background spanning verticals such as restaurants, farming, real estate, and aviation. He holds a BA in psychology earned at the University of Richmond and a Commercial, Multi engine license earned at Pro-Flite and Flight Safety International. Subsequently gaining qualifications as a Certificated Flight Instructor, he excels at aviation and airway management.
A longtime flight instructor, Mr. Barkett leads the company SkyPix, LLC, which delivers quality, aerial photographs of everything from campuses to special events. He flies a Piper Aerostar (a groundbreaking aircraft known for its speed) and a Cessna Turbo 206. He is also a dedicated triathlete who has competed in Ironman events and completed the Black Mountain Marathon in the Appalachians five times.
